Visiting Book Artists
Throughout the year, book artists from different disciplines are invited to the campus to conduct workshops, to give lectures, demonstrations, and presentations, and to share their passion for books with students. Book artists who have recently visited CSB/SJU include Mary Hark, Jana Pullman, Regula Russelle, and C.B. Sherlock. |

Papermaking
| The CSB Book Arts Studio has papermaking equipment. The Literary Arts Institute offers occasional workshops in papermaking taking advantage of this equipment. A recent workshop offered participants the opportunity to make paper with native grasses. |
| |
Bookbinding
| Students in several classes have the opportunity to make books using resources of the Book Arts Studio. In addition, there are occasional workshops offered in bookbinding techniques, such as a Saturday workshop on making a longstitch binding journal offered by the Library. |

Exhibits
| Items from the permanent collections of the CSB/SJU Libraries, the Literary Arts Institute, the Hill Museum & Manuscript Library, and the College and University are often on exhibit in various campus venues. In addition, CSB/SJU will have exhibits of works on loan from other organizations. |
