Artist Statement

I’ll tell ya what, I am pretty proud of where I am now in my creative career. I could grab a thesaurus and make this sound smart or I could just tell it like it is...

I am a letterpress printer. I love to print. My inspiration either smacks me upside the head like a freight train or soaks in slowly like a light mist.

I create like I live; honest, hands-on, by the seat of my pants, simply, over analyzed, accidental, deliberate, foot in mouth, frenzied, exhausted, distracted, focused, over confident, insecure, too fast, sarcastically, with wit, whiskey and always love. I am grateful to all the events that have carried me to where I am. My journey has only begun and I can’t wait to see where I go next.
